Meet The Creator

Tira Hummelle is the face and Creative Editor behind the Fashion and Lifestyle Blog Simply Tira.  However, that is not how her journey in the fashion world began…

Tira studied the art of Fashion Design in Vancouver, Canada where she completed a full ten-piece collection that was showcased for numerous runway shows; including Onwards by VCAD [Fashion Interview], Jarder Productions Launch Event, and the 2013 Sunlit Terrace BC Liberal Fundraiser.  She has also been featured in Niche Magazine, Photo News Magazine for Nikon, as well as the Fashion and Retail Blog, Style by Fire.

Simply Tira officially launched in 2016 where it has become an outlet for Tira to share her passion and experience in this industry with others.  Being the sole vision and execution behind each of her posts, you can easily see her creativity and eye for quality.

Tira’s style has inevitably evolved throughout the years but she now strives for maintaining a classic, minimalistic approach to every style genre visited – mainly influenced from her Scandinavian heritage.  This makes her looks simple and attainable.  Working with local / Canadian brands has been a huge aspiration for Tira but she also continues to be on the lookout for unique and interesting items from around the world.

Having a strong passion for a healthy and active lifestyle gives Tira the desire to share this other side in her life.  She hopes to inspire others with motivational, lifestyle tips as well as delicious recipes she currently uses and loves.

With great plans and goals for the future, Tira intends to bring each of her readers along on this incredible journey!
