When all else fails, wear black!
This has been my motto for quite a while now. It is a colour of class, yet mystery. Black continues to be the anchor of style and a celebrated wardrobe staple. It became the uniform for many fashion icons like Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn. For many designers, such as Gareth Pugh, black is not only their personal wardrobe choice, but often grounds their collections in the inky hue. I love sporting the dark, monochromatic look but find it’s easy to add a personal pop of colour from a great shoe or handbag.
