Stepping into Spring | A Fresh Start

    by simplytira

Well, today is officially the first day of spring and I don’t think I’ve been so ready!

This year has been tough, to say the least.  But as soon as that sun started to shine I felt my spirits lift.  This is exactly what we need!  I know I have always been a warm weather person but I don’t think I’ve ever really comprehended how much the weather affects our overall health…

  • Okay, so I wanted to write this post for those of you that have just started following me or for anyone that would like to know a bit more on how and why I created this platform. Well…to start, I can literally say that fashion has always been my obsession! Since a young age, I was always dressing up or thinking up new and interesting items I wanted to make that you couldn’t find at a store…

  • Summer is here and that means things are heating up.  But with the heat also means we are all layering ourselves in plenty of suntan oils, lotions, perfumes and hopefully getting lots of time in the water. So this typically means we have to set aside our precious jewelry pieces as certain materials can’t withstand all these different elements.  They will either discolour or tarnish.  So when I heard about Hey Harper Shop that sells stainless steel jewelry, I was very intrigued…

  • Giving myself this last month off was exactly what I needed.  I have had some time to clear my head and to really focus on what is important.  Even though the world is far from normal, I feel like it’s possible to begin reconstructing some future plans. • It’s no secret that our heritage affects our day to day way of life…the way we think, act or especially the food we eat. But what I’ve recently been focusing on is how much our roots can affect our style.  Of course every country or city has their own trends but how does our heritage from another country still affect the way we dress?…

    Finding The Perfect One Piece

    by simplytira

Oh the one piece…just another style that’s made a comeback.
I really love that we have slowly started to return to the styles and silhouettes that I believe are much more flattering for women than those I grew up with…so glad low rise is a thing of the past!  And so is the attitude that you don’t necessarily have to be in a string bikini to be sexy…

    All Things Beige

    by simplytira

As far as trends go, I usually try them in their most classic form possible. The odd statement piece is typically as far as I’ve gone when it comes to embellished, exaggerated or “eye-catching” glam.  I’ve expressed many times my love for a neutral-toned pallet.  I look toward designers or fashion icons whose classic wardrobe choices have made a mark on fashion that will not fade. But there is one trend that has been catching my eye as it continually fills my social media feed…
